In this study the effect of fruit moisture content on the size, sphericity, geometric mean diameters and kernel density were studied. The bulk density and porosity were also evaluated in three different arrangements. Airflow resistance is a fundamental parameter for designing an efficient drying and aeration systems for lemon fruit bed. Using a laboratory test rig, two sets of experiments were carried out: thick and thin layers. In the thick layer experiments 4 bed depths, 11 air flow rates and 4 air temperatures were adopted as independent variables. In the thin layer the effect of filling arrangements in three patterns: A, B and random, at 5 moisture contents and 11 flow rates on pressure drop were envisaged. Results showed that all the physical parameters listed decreased by reducing moisture content. Results indicated that resistance to airflow through a column of lemon fruit increased with increasing bed depth and airflow rate. In the latter experiment pressure drop decreased with a decrease in moisture content. Airflow rate was the most significant factor affecting the pressure drop of lemon fruit in the both experiment. Also the filling arrangement B has a higher affect on pressure drop comparing with other arrangements. Three applicable models (Shedd, Hukill & Ives, and Ergun) were used to evaluate the pressure drop data. The Ergun model, with higher values for coefficient of determination and lower values for root mean square error, is the best model for predicting pressure drop across lemon fruit bed for the conditions studied.}, keywords = {Lemon fruit,Resistance to airflow,Modeling,storage,Pressure drop}, title_fa = {بررسی خواص فیزیکی دانه و بستر لیموترش به عنوان تابعی از رطوبت}, abstract_fa = {لیموترش یکی از مهمترین اقلام مصرفی به صورت تر و خشک می‏باشد. خشک کردن، درجه بندی و انبارداری از مهمترین مراحل پس از برداشت است که برای انجام مراحل فوق آگاهی از خواص فیزیکی این محصول ضروری می‏باشد. در این تحقیق اثر پنج سطح رطوبتی (84%، 64%، 44%، 24% و 10% بر پایه تر) رطوبت بر روی ابعاد، کرویت، میانگین هندسی قطرها و جرم حجمی واقعی مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. همچنین جرم حجمی توده‏ای و تخلخل در سه چیدمان مختلف (B, A و تصادفی) ارزیابی شد. آزمایشات افت فشار به دو صورت انجام گرفت، آزمایش اول افت فشار در بستر لیموترش در ارتفاع 1 متر در حالت پر کردن تصادفی در 4 عمق بستر (25، 50، 75، 100) سانتیمتر، 4 دمای هوای عبوری (25، 35، 45، 50) درجه سانتیگراد و 11 سرعت عبور جریان هوا ( m3m-2s-1 ) (1/0-1/1) مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. آزمایش دوم به منظور ارزیابی افت فشار در حالت لایه نازک لیموترش در 5 سطح رطوبتی (84، 64، 44، 24، 10) درصد، 3 طرز قرارگیری (A، B و تصادفی) و 11 سرعت عبور جریان هوا مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. نتایج خواص فیزیکی نشان داد کلیه پارامترهای ذکر شده با کاهش رطوبت، کاهش پیدا کردند. همچنین مشاهده شد با افزایش عمق بستر و سرعت جریان هوا، افت فشار افزایش می یابد. دما در این آزمایش اثر معنی داری بر روی افت فشار نداشت. در حالت لایه نازک مشاهده شد با کاهش رطوبت، افت فشار کاهش می‏یابد. همچنین مشاهده شد چیدمان B اثر افزایشی بیشتری بر روی افت فشار نسبت به دو چیدمان دیگر داشته است. برای پیش بینی افت فشار در بین مدل‏های ریاضی مدل ارگان به عنوان بهترین مدل (با بیشترین و کمترینRMSE) برای تبیین رابطه سرعت جریان هوا و افت فشار در بستر لیموترش انتخاب شد.}, keywords_fa = {لیموترش,افت فشار,مدل ریاضی,خواص فیزیکی}, url = {https://ifstrj.um.ac.ir/article_32912.html}, eprint = {https://ifstrj.um.ac.ir/article_32912_46cf1d177f61900f18567a27a353b70f.pdf} }
