چکیده

آلودگی ناشی از استفاده از مواد پلاستیکی سنتزی موجب نگرانی علاقمندان به محیط زیست شده است. این امر پژوهشگران را به تحقیق بر روی بیو پلیمر ها به منظور استفاده در صنایع بسته بندی وا داشته است. مقاومت ضعیف در برابر رطوبت مهمترین نقص آن ها می باشد. فیلم های خوراکی از نشاسته واکسی با مقادیر متفاوتی از اسید سیتریک یا متیل سلولز به روش مرطوب تهیه شدند. تأثیر افزایش اسید سیتریک و متیل سلولز بر روی خواص فیزیکی فیلم ها شامل نفوذ پذیری نسبت به بخارآب واکسیژن و خواص مکانیکی فیلم ها شامل مقاومت کششی، درصد ازدیاد طول تا نقطه پارگی و مدول الاستیک مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند. نفوذ پذیری آن ها نسبت به بخار آب (WVP) با استفاده از روش مهاجرت رطوبت از فنجانک ها اندازه گیری شدند. سرعت مهاجرت اکسیژن ((OTR از طریق اندازه گیری عدد پراکسید روغن موجود در فنجانک ها اندازه گیری شدند. خواص مکانیکی فیلم ها با استفاده از دستگاه کشش اندازه گیری شدند. افزدون اسید سیتریک تا 5 درصد موجب کاهش نفوذ پذیری به بخار آب و اکسیژن شد. فیلم حاوی 5 درصد (وزنی/ وزنی) اسید سیتریک، کمترین WVP را نشان داد، در حالیکه با افزایش اسید سیتریک به میزان 20 درصد موجب افزایش نفوذ پذیری به بخار آب و ازدیاد طول فیلم ها تا نقطه پارگی و کاهش مقاومت کششی فیلم هاگردید. افزدون متیل سلولز تا 30 درصد (وزنی/ وزنی) نفوذ پذیری به بخار آب و اکسی‍ژن را کاهش داد.
